Morris & Reyes Compete for $500,000

After a gruelling days play in Reno Rodney Morris and Efren Reyes emerged out of the round-robin group knowing that one of them will be walking away with $500,000 in the richest ever pool tournament.

In yesterdays action Morris won 4 out of his 5 matches and that included an 8-7 win over Reyes. Reyes won three of his matches and was tied with Mika Immonen. Reyes got through on a better games won %.

This is Reyes' second IPT final, he defeated Mike Sigel in the King of the Hill in December, he also made it to the last 6 at the last event in Vegas.

Morris has played blinding pool all week and I personally fancy him to lift the title, however, you can never underestimate Reyes and even at 51 he is still one of the best (if not the best) players in the world.
