8-ball Pool: Phil Harrison win Mickey Flynn's Season Opener

Mickey Flynn's has always been regarded as one of the best pool halls in the UK, with the quality of the tables, the staff and the fantastic hospitality.

This season Mickey Flynn's are running a joint 8-ball/10-ball tour to allow players tournament practice for the two UK tours. The EPT and the UK 10-ball tour.

This first event could have had £320.00added to the prize money with a full field but as it turned out it was very disapointing with only 20 players making the journey to Cambridge.

Due to the small field Ricardo Jones, Tournament Director, decided on an unusual format that is employed at the Derby City Classic. Each round is drawn at random like the FA Cup in football, and each player receives 2 lives meaning that they get at least two matches.

Final 6 and Tournament Payouts:

1st Phil Harrison - £250.00
2nd Ricardo Jones - £100.00
3rd= Mickey Lambert / Vinnie Calabrese - £75.00
5th= Lee Rigby / Lee Tucker - £50.00
