Snooker: China Open 1/4 Finalists Decided

The 1/4 finalists for this years China Open are now decided.

Marco Fu is the only Asian player left in the tournament and will be an unlikely hero to the Chinese crowd should he manage to go all the way in this event. Crowd favourite and former winner Ding Junhui went out in the 1st round 5-3 to Barry Hawkins, Hawkins had not won a ranking match all season until this match.

1/4 Final Draw

Jamie Cope (Eng) v Shaun Murphy (Eng)
Barry Hawkins (Eng) v Ken Doherty (Ire)
Marco Fu (HK) v Ronnie O'Sullivan (Eng)
John Higgins (Sco) v Graeme Dott (Sco)

Jamie Cope is the lowest ranked player still in with a shout and has again put in an excellent run of form with the World Championships only just around the corner.

I personally fancy Graeme Dott to win this event - but don't put any money on him on my account.
