Snooker: Premier League Finals Preview

This weekend see's the semi-finals and the finals of the Premier League snooker.

The league which started in September with 7 of the worlds best snooker players reaches it's finale this weekend at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.

Stephen Hendry on home soil will play the bookies favourite to lift the crown - Ronnie O'Sulliavn in the first semi-final - followed by snooker's biggest rising star Ding JunHui taking on current world champion, another Scot on home soil, John Higgins.

The outright odds look like this:
O'Sullivan - 5/6
Junhui - 10/3
Hendry - 5/1
Higgins - 5/1

I think with the crowd behind them you cannot discount either of the two Scottish players and I would be putting my money on Stephen Hendry at 5/1.

O'Sullivan can be very volatile at times and although calmer this season anything can happen. None of the players in this tournament have won a ranking event this season and the Premier league will be good match practice going into next week's Maplin Uk Championship.

All the Premier league matches are live on Sky Sports over the weekend.
